Answer: A themed party!

People LOVE to dress-up and particpate in something 'different'. What better than to pick a Hawaiian theme?

The elements that make up a great Hawaiian party include (but not limited to...)

• Clothing / Fancy dress Hawaiian outfits

 

 

FOOD

Depending on your party (style, purpose or even location) the food must have elements of 'tropicalness'; Just a bowl of fruit salad won't give the complete Hawaiian theme you need to call it an Hawaiian Party!

Today's Hawaiian Culture is composed of a number of different ethnic groups, from Native Hawaiians, to Samoans, Tongans, Chinese, Japanese, Portugese, Haole, and so forth. This is reflected in the variety and style of food now available.

Labelling the different dishes with perhaps a small written explanation of what the dishes are and why it is presented would go a long way in getting your guests to understand why you have chosen that dish or even appreciate your overall thinking, planning and execution.

Food items can be divided into:

• Hors D'ouvres / Appitizers (Pupus in Hawaiian) or nibbles

DRINKS
