Hawaiian Shave Ice

About us

We (Chris and Chris) have been in catering for many, many years - catering for Royalty, Celebrities and the great British public at just about every conceivable function or event known to Man!

Hawaiian Shave Ice is a literally BRAND NEW to the UK shores - entering at the latter part of 2008. We first saw it in April and immediately took to it. It is a fun, enjoyable, smile-inducing, novel and different idea. Some people not knowing what it is immediately call it a 'Slush Puppy'. Hawaiian Shave Ice is definitely NOT a Slush Puppy!

Slush Puppies are:

• Totally Children orientated
• Uses slushy/melted ice
• Will consist of one, two or three (sweet) flavours
• It is drunk through a straw

Hawaiian Shave Ice are:

• Family orientated - for adults AND children. In fact more adults around the world eat and drink Shave Ice than children!
• It is pure, powdery fine snow - not melted slush-ice.
• There is a choice of 20 different flavours from tangy, savoury to sweet to suit all tastes see our flavours list.
• It is initially eaten (the snow) then drunk when the snow has melted; the various flavours mingle at the bottom of the Hawaiian flower cup to produce a very refreshing and cool drink!

As of March/April 2009, there were approximately 8 machines in the entire country. We saw an opportunity to be different, to serve people in a new way - the Hawaiian Shave Ice way! If you have been to our Passion for Chocolate website, you will have seen how different we are in that industry when compared to other Chocolate Fountain companies. We are doing the same in the Hawiian Shave industry.

Our aim is to make you party, event or function TOTALLY different to what you may have ever seen or experienced! Give total value, enjoyment and something that will NEVER be forgotten.

Our goal is to keep building our business; to be the best in all respects. The ONLY way we can do this is to serve you in the best way possible; going that extra mile and building on a solid reputation of recommendations.
